The Wood Hedgehog is a wild mushroom with a fleshy, slightly convex, beige to light-brown cap and a stout, creamy white stem.

Flavour and use
The flesh of the Wood Hedgehog Mushroom is firm and delicious, although it becomes slightly bitter with age. You can prepare Wood Hedgehog Mushrooms in the same way as Chanterelles.
