CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)

At Westland Mushrooms we believe in developing and supporting initiatives aimed at increasing the sustainability of our planet. It’s an integral part of who we are. We ‘live’ by virtue of nature and the world around us and want to continue to do so. For this reason, we launch initiatives designed to ease the burden on our environment and reduce CO2 emissions. We also consider a pleasant and safe working environment in which people can develop their talents to be paramount.

This quality mark stands for fairly harvested mushrooms and guarantees that the pickers are paid in accordance with the applicable regulations in the country in which they work.  On 15 January 2013, Mushrooms was one of the first companies to be awarded Fair Produce certificate.
